Vienna / Munich, 15th. Of November 2005 – Whoever has a good grasp of the English language, has it easier in professional life. However, finding time for training isn’t always an easy task. At the “Personal Austria“ Cleverlearn (www.cleverlearn.com) demonstrates the efficiency of online and mobile learning alternatives, in comparison to conventional methods. With it’s premiere at the „Personal Austria“ (16.-17th of November 2005), the leading supplier of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) underlines its profile in the overall German speaking market. Cleverlearn gained an important partner in the ETS-subsidiary TOEIC Germany. TOEIC (Test of English for International Communica-tion) is a well known concept amongst Personnel Managers. Worldwide, applicants use this certificate to show their English expertise.
At the „Personal Austria“ TOEIC and Cleverlearn demonstrate together (Stand J.04), how aspirants can specifically prepare themselves for the TOEIC-Tests and how Per-sonnel Management can raise and improve the language competence of their employ-ees, at both the time of employment and in following further educational meas-ures.The demand for such tools is high. To begin with, the language course itself is the most important aspect of any training, but secondly decision-makers look for pos-sibilities to reduce strained budgets whilst at the same time offering high quality.

In the foreground of the presentation, in which TOEIC and Cleverlearn continue their expansion pact, is the new Benchmarking-Initiative, targeted in particular at HR-Circles.The message endorses: Whoever is responsible for further educational training of employees, must know the learning demands of their workers and respond respec-tively, with appropriate training methods.
Cleverlearn demonstrates an Online-Tutorial, that contains approximately 2000 TOEIC examination questions, as well as the digital learning aid, CleverTrainer, which can be downloaded, free of charge, onto so called waistcoat computers (PDA), like Pocket PC or Palm. This serves as an assistance for TOEIC preparation, but ad-dresses also specialists and executive personnel,who being mobile whilst on the job need flexible learning solutions, which can be used between appointments.
