Hong Kong / Munich, 31st of October 2005 – Continuously more people are occupationally underway and whilst doing so want to freshen up their English knowledege. Tailored to fit their needs, is the PDA-Solution „CleverTrainer“, which Cleverlearn has just released, in an updated 4.0 version. Using Clever-Trainer, learners can prepare themselves for the TOEIC-Test, or practise com-mon phrases playfully during their daily routine.
With it’s updated 4.0 version of CleverTrainer, Cleverlearn offers a digital learning aid, which can be downloaded free of charge, onto PDA (Personal Digital Assistents) like Palm or Pocket PC , and enables English students to review their vocabulary in a Multiple-Choice-Procedure. For each term, CleverTrainer offers four solutions to choose from. The vocabulary trainer is available at any time and enables the English student to practise terms and language idioms at his own personal learning pace.
Besides improved features in the new 4,0 updated version, Cleverlearn also offers fur-ther attractive incentives. With these, the user can prepare for the TOEIC-Test. This is an internationally recognised procedure, which enables companies to test the Eng-lish language skills of their applicants and preferize accordingly. Many of the test questions are included in CleverTrainer and therefore make the tool an indispensable tutor for individual career management.
A further highlight of the CleverTrainer 4.0 version are the so called ‘Idiom Games’. With this, the user can playfully practice or freshen up his English idioms .The full potential of CleverTrainer admittedly lies in the smoothe integration of the entire spectrum of learning programs offered from Cleverlearn, where a user control is nec-essary. English terms, which are to be practiced in CleverTrainer can be synchronised from the „Personal Vocabulary Book“ and simultaneously retrieved at any time from other applications, for instance the translation aid, Clicktionary or the WordRe-minder. To cross check between tools, the PDA and computer must be joined. Syn-chronisation takes place by clicking the mouse.

CleverTrainer can be downloaded from the internet for both PocketPC or for Palm. The contents and technical features coincide accordingly for both PDA solutions. An installation program helps when downloading. The system must be equipped with Windows 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 oder XP as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Ver-sion 6.0. Palm-Devices should run on versions, as of Palm OS 4.1, PocketPC with Microsoft ActiveSync as of Version 3.5 and PocketPC 2000 , or higher.
